DRPGMC was established in the year 1996 at Tanda in district Kangra and is affiliated with Atal Medical & Research University, recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC).
DRPGMC is providing various programs which include MBBS, MD, MS, DM, M.Ch., Nursing, Paramedical courses. The campus sprawls over a vast area which house the modern academic infrastructure such as lecture theaters, labs, anatomy dissection halls, departmental museums, skills labs, research rooms, central library. The teaching hospital attached with the college is the premier tertiary health care center of Himachal Pradesh.
