|Government|Established 2015ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad, was founded in 2015 and functions as a leading government medical college functioning under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. Situated in the New Industrial Town (NIT), this medical college is affiliated to the Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It admits students to 125 MBBS seats, along with postgraduate (MD/MS) and super-speciality (DM/MCh) courses. Its sprawling 30-acre eco-friendly campus includes well-equipped academic buildings, along with a large hospital complex with 1,150 beds. The attached multi-speciality hospital ensures that students get adequate practical experience with thousands of outpatients per day, in addition to advanced facilities such as modular OTs, a blood bank, ICUs, etc. Merit-based admissions are made through NEET-UG and NEET-PG exams. Another unique feature of ESIC medical colleges is the IP (insured person) quota, offering very cheap tuition fees to wards of ESI beneficiaries apart from general all-India and state quotas.
